Manuel Felguérez,
(1928-2020)

He has received distinctions such as the Guggenheim Scholarship by the Guggenheim Foundation (1975), the National Award for Science and Arts in the area of Fine Arts, Mexico (1988), and in 1993, he was awarded as Emeritus Creator by the National System of Art Creators of Mexico.

Vicente Rojo Almazán

He studied painting at the La Esmeralda art school, and did extensive work in painting, graphic design and, more recently, sculpture. He was awarded the National Prize for Science and Arts, in the area of Fine Arts, and the Mexico Prize for Design.

Gilberto Aceves Navarro, (1931-2019)

One of the greatest exponents of abstract expressionism in Mexico. He was a collaborator of Siqueiros and a member of the Salón de la Plástica Mexicana, although others include him in the Ruptura movement.
